Recognized Standards for Training and Performance Improvement
The Direct Selling Academy, Inc. is the industry specific school of higher learning developed exclusively for the Direct Selling Industry. We are an educational institution developed for providing higher learning to independent direct sellers. This includes sales and recruiting skills training and development through professional certification for those involved in the Direct Selling Industry; including, direct sellers, network marketers, multi-level marketers, affiliate marketers, and independent agents.

We bring a unique perspective and experiential knowledge to the classroom. In fact, our curriculum is designed to provide experiential knowledge and practical application to the student's learning experience. What this means to you is, we go beyond the traditional classroom study and theory, integrating in-the-field application exercises within the curriculum and certification process, so the student not only learns and understands what is being taught, but they prove they can effectively apply what they have learn through their own consistent action in the field.

While we are not an accredited school (it takes a number of years to get board approved accreditation), we have implemented a self-governed accreditation standard within our curriculum. This includes adhering to the high standards established by IACET (the international governing board for high standards in training) and are working toward fulfilling the accreditation requirements as an authorized provider of the IACET CEU (which will take us a few years to be approved for application by IACET).

Since the term CEU (Continuing Education Unit) is in the public domain, any organization may award a traditional CEU without requiring any accreditation. The IACET CEU standards provide a high quality indicator for your continuing education and training because it means the curriculum meets approved compliance based on internationally recognized standards for training and continuing education.

The definition of a CEU says that it measures participation in organized continuing education/training experience under responsible, qualified direction and instruction (including responsible learning environments, positive learning outcomes, instructional design and evaluation, etc.). Any type of self-study is therefore part of our planned curriculum study and learning activities. The facilitating trainer will provide monitoring of the learner’s progress and feedback provided to the student for the lesson being taught. This standard applies for face-to-face interaction as well as for our self-study learning workshop classes that supplement our certification courses.

At the Direct Selling Academy, w
e provide hands-on accelerated learning through both a face-to-face and an online learning environment. We strive to bring a balance of learning style preferences to the classroom, which help accelerate your success in the effective application of what you learn.
